At Warley Town School, we believe that strong communication between home and school is essential. We aim to keep families informed, involved and up to date through a range of communication channels.
Text Messages
We use text messages to share important information, reminders and updates, including notifications about awards, clubs and school events.
If you do not receive a message when expected, or need to update your contact details, please contact the school office.
Newsletters
School newsletters are distributed electronically throughout the year and contain important information, key dates and celebrations from across the school.To receive newsletters by email, please subscribe via the link at the bottom of the 'Letters' page on our website.
As part of our commitment to reducing paper waste and school costs, we encourage families to access newsletters electronically whenever possible. Paper copies are available on request from the school office.
Class Dojo
Class Dojo is our main platform for sharing learning, celebrating achievements and communicating with families. Once your child starts school, you will receive information about how to access Class Dojo through the website or mobile app.
Class Dojo may be used for general communication with your child's class teacher. However, it is not monitored continuously and should not be used for urgent messages.
Please contact the school office regarding:
- Absences
- Urgent information
- Club bookings
- Payments
- School meals
- Cool Milk
- Changes to collection arrangements
This ensures that important information reaches the appropriate member of staff as quickly as possible.
Families should contact class teachers only through Class Dojo. Teaching assistants and support staff are not expected to respond to messages sent through the platform.
