At Warley Town Community School, we are committed to helping children become safe, responsible and respectful users of technology. We recognise that the internet plays an important role in children's learning, communication and entertainment, but we also understand that there can be risks associated with being online.

Online safety is taught throughout our curriculum and reinforced through assemblies, classroom discussions, and special events and awareness campaigns. We work closely with parents and carers to ensure children have the knowledge and skills needed to stay safe when using the internet, social media, online games and digital devices.

A message for children

The internet can be an exciting place to learn, play and keep in touch with friends and family. However, it is important to use it safely and responsibly.

If something online makes you feel worried, upset or uncomfortable, tell a trusted adult straight away. At Warley Town, there is always someone available to help.
